Botanical Illustration

On retirement I took a one day introductory course with Valerie Price in Botanical Illustration. Following this introduction I continued to attend weekly classes tutored by Valerie at the Village Hall, Crowmarsh Gifford, Oxfordshire. With subject matter from the flower garden, vegetable plot or local hedgerows; a set of water colours; some hot pressed paper; decent brushes; an expert tutor and the company of other keen botanical illustrators the day flies by and some of my illustrations can be seen in the Gallery below.
